Job Description
The Managing Director is responsible for the conception, design, and execution of visuals to be used in branding, web, digital, and print collaterals for our clients. You’ll be in charge of a small, collaborative group of designers, and guide their technical and creative contributions.
It is the Managing Director’s job to ensure that our client's needs and requirements are met. The Managing Director will provide strategic direction to our clients and the creative team. They identify appropriate programs and services to meet client needs. Furthermore, the Managing Director will work with internal tools and staff to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze campaign delivery and optimize performance on an ongoing basis. They will organize and lead client meetings and write/present strategic content and design plans to clients.
The responsibilities of the Managing Director also include the creation of all senior-level digital/print material, website design/development, and campaign management. You will be working with clients and our team directly and help create, manage, and execute large-scale CX projects.
Job Details
- Manage the creative team, serve as a mentor, and provide guidance/leadership and training
- Manage, review, and analyze all client-facing deliverables
- Manage internal and external communications, client acquisition, company CRMs and software, and operations
- Provide consultative strategic direction to our clients and identify appropriate programs and services to meet client needs
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and identify areas of development within emerging markets
- Develop and present monthly client reports highlighting the relevant learning gained and recommendations for future campaigns
- Delegate and oversee responsibilities/assignments appropriate for the creative team
- Oversee reporting, traffic measurement, KPI and ROI analysis.
- Manage and oversee all website design and development projects for clients
- Manage and oversee client design, web, communications, email campaigns, branding, and overall image
- Manage and oversee company-facing design, web, communications, branding, and overall image
- Creation and management of digital and traditional campaign management tools, including ad-serving, tracking, and analysis.
- Promote positive working relationships within the department, the company, and the vendor community
- Develop relationships and partnerships with external companies, agencies, and vendors
- Management of client acquisition
- Help cultivate a company culture for our company and team.
- Ensure a high standard of visual execution across all media and campaigns.
- Inspire and motivate the agency’s creative team to be creatively progressive, through the application of fresh and inventive visual work.
- Take ownership of the visual elements of creative work for new business pitches.
- Uncover new ways to incorporate emerging and new media formats into brand, web and print.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, or related fields
- Be detail-oriented, very organized, able to multitask, and work well under pressure
- 5+ years in content creation, design, marketing, and management for a company or within an advertising agency
- 2+ years as a supervisor, manager, or equivalent role
- A working understanding of traditional and digital media tactics
- Possess demonstrable experience working in both B2B and B2C environments
- Possess outstanding written and verbal communications skills
- Deep knowledge of advertising metrics such as impressions, clicks, click-through rate, conversions, and cost per conversion.
- Articulate, intelligent, and credible individual, who is a self-starter and keen to make a difference in a growing business with existing clients
- Proficient skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Premier Pro, etc.)
- Proficient skills in web building programs including (Wordpress, Webflow, and Shopify)
- Proficient skills in email marketing (Mailchimp)
- Proven experience in Google Ads, Analytics, Tag Manager
- Proven experience managing various social platforms and utilizing Facebook Business Manager and managing ad campaigns
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic are paramount
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
